About me
Rooted In Community
When I arrived in Chewelah in 2023, I jumped right into building free events that bring people together.
Halloween Haunt
🎃 Each year, my family hosts a Halloween Haunt at our home to support Bradley’s TKD—where both my husband and son train. It’s become a spooky little way for us to give back and have fun with the community.
Shakespeare on the Green
🎭 In 2023, with the blessings of the Chewelah Center for the Arts, I started Shakespeare on the Green—giving our community the chance to enjoy free Shakespeare beside the creek!
Christmas Tree Labyrinth
🎄 Last year, we introduced a new Chewelah tradition—the Christmas Tree Labyrinth at the Chewelah Center for the Arts. It was magical to see families enjoy it, and we’re excited to watch it grow again this Christmas.
I share the community’s enthusiasm for improving parks, recreation, and gathering spaces for our kids and families. A pool or aquatic center is a great goal, but it will take a community-wide effort to make it sustainable. As your councilmember, I’ll work to foster partnerships—with local groups, grants, and volunteers—to explore realistic paths forward, while ensuring the city manages its resources responsibly.
